Rheon Medical is pleased to announce that the first eyeWatch implantation was performed in Athens, Greece, on September 9th, 2021 by Dr. Nikolaos Matheou, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Omma Eye Institute of Athens.
“The eyeWatch is an easy to handle and promising device, which will hopefully improve postoperative management in glaucomatous operated eyes”, said Dr. Matheou.
Rheon is excited to have introduced the eyeWatch technology in Athens, through its collaboration with its distributor Ocular Quality Services, making the eyeWatch implant available to the athenian patients.
